Special Arrangements

Here are just some of the things we have been able to organise for returning WWII veterans.  We cannot of course guarantee that we will be able to arrange the same special moments for you, but we will do our very best.

We have arranged for medal and certificate presentations by the staff at various museums in Normandy

We have had veterans participate in the flag-lowering at the end of the day at the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha beach

We arranged for a British Veteran to be invited into a chateau by the Count and Countess for a private visit of the building he was stationed at in WWII

We arranged for the daugther of an Omaha Beach veteran to meet two ladies who had been given blankets by the veteran in 1944 to make winter coats. One lady brought along the coat to show the daughter

We have located sites from unpublished family photos taken in Normandy in 1944 and been able to take the veteran and family to the same spot

We took an American veteran to a private building where he had been taken as a POW of the Germans in June 1944

We took a lady from Canada to a barn now sitting in the exact location of her brother's death with the Canadian Army in 1944

We took an American tank crewman to the very spot his Sheman tank took a hit in 1944, and he was reunited with a German veteran of the same battle!

We took a British Commando veteran through the very lanes he marched on June 6th and introduced him to some of the locals from that day

We took a lady doctor veteran to the sites of various hospitals she worked at in the summer of 1944

We helped a family plot the route of the father through Normandy to where he was wounded in July fighting with the Big Red One

We helped a 101st Airborne veteran and his family locate the area he waded across a river during the attack up Carentan and into the rear of the farm where his buddy was killed
