E-mail

For most general questions about tours, schedules and availabilty please e-mail us at office@battlebus.fr. Clicking the text link or button below will open up a new message in your computer's regular e-mail programme.  You'll just need to type your questions and send as you would any e-mail from your outbox.

We answer our e-mails quickly, if we receive your e-mail during office hours you can usually expect a reply within 4 to 5 hours.  If you e-mail us after 9pm (our time) we will probably deal with your message the following morning, so expect your reply to take a little longer.  It's just 2 of us in the office (Myriam and Paul Woodadge) and we work 7 days a week 365 days a year handling the dozens of
e-mails we receive each day.  Although we are quick to respond we do have to go shopping and eat meals and sometimes we even watch a bit of television!  So although we do our best to answer you quickly, we do not have dozens of staff on call 24 hours a day.

However we will DEFINITELY answer within 36 hours, If you don't hear from us within that time, there has been an e-mail failure, please try again preferably from a different e-mail account.  I.e. if you don't receive a reply to your work e-mail, try your home e-mail or vice-versa.  Unfortunately some servers have strong anti-spam software that reject our replies, and companies often have systems in place to block e-mails from overseas ISPs.

The worst server for us to contact (we don't know why) is Comcast, so if that is your regular server there's a 90% chance you won't receive our replies.  We also often have problems with Shaw, BellSouth and SBCGlobal.  Reliable servers to use if you are having problems contacting us in Europe are usually Hotmail and GMail.

But please understand WE REPLY TO ALL e-mails received, if you don't hear from us, we're not ignoring you - it's simply a problem between our servers.

E-mail Problems

If after a few days you still haven't heard back, don't despair we have a solution in place.  In addition to our main website we also maintain a forum that you can find here: Battlebus Forum.  What you will need to do, is register with the forum (this only takes a minute or two) and follow the instructions in the forum thread called "problems e-mailing Battlebus."  You will then be able to send us a private message which we will be able to view via the forum and we will respond to you there.  We will still need a workable e-mail address for us to be able to send you a booking confimation, but at least we will have made contact!!!

Telephone

Some people like to speak to a human being in addition to using e-mail which is fine, and our telephone number is +33 231 222882.  In France we are on GMT+1.  Myriam is pretty much the sole person who answers the telephone (being the only FULLY bilingual member of the Battlebus team).  So again although we try and be available 7 days a week and for long hours each day, sometimes we are out, eating, relaxing or are otherwise unavailable.  Please be patient and call us again later and we will do our best to help.  Sometimes we get messages on our answerphone in the middle of the night from people saying "why aren't you picking up?"  We love running Battlebus, but we do have to sleep sometimes!!

If you are calling us right now the time in France is currently:

Lastly, we do not actually take reservations by telephone.  To ensure we have people's details down correctly and so we can send back our booking confirmation we will need an e-mail from you to take a firm booking.  See the How to Book page for more details.
